My THOMAS COOK experience

Hey guys! Today I write about my experinces flying with Thomas Cook Airlines (Scandinavia). It's definitely number one charter airline for me and I have always enjoyed to fly with TC.

Me and A321 OY-TCH at Larnaca Airport.

Thomas Cook has 6 new Airbus A321 aircrafts (OY-TCD, -TCE, -TCF, -TCG, -TCH, -TCI). I have flown with TCI, TCH and TCE and the rest of the flights I have flown with a little bit older aircrafts: two flights with OY-VKA and my latest flight was with OY-VKC.
Thomas Cook's all aircrafts have new 'sunny heart' livery, new are new and the old ones have renovated so maybe you don't notice are you flying with new or old plane, expect the new aircrafts have sharklets and the old ones have great engines with great sound, I really like it.

On a flight from HEL to LCA, taken 2.5.2016 during take off from Helsinki.

One reason why to choose Thomas Cook is their food onboard. I have flown with Finnair, Norwegian and TUIfly for example and no one doesn't have as good food as Thomas Cook have. I think that the food is really basic, but diverse and simply good like everyone have to like it.

When I have flown with TC, the flighs have departured / arrived
on schedule or only about 30min delayed and It's like nothing.
I like they have an entertainment system on flights, so you can watch movies, your location and altitude during the flight or weather for example.. I think it's useful and it's also better to show safety video than it would be shown by cabin crew like some Finnair's flights.

OY-TCH with shaklets.

OY-VKC without sharklets.

I love Thomas Cook's new livery, simple but really beautiful! You fly to sun with sunny heart.
If you haven't flown with TC yet, I recommend heartily to give it a try!
I could write a lot about why to choose Thomas Cook, but I one important reason for me is that they are environmentally friendly and they support the education and sustainable development.

  2. I have worked on the A320. The overhead bins have to be removed and installed in a particular order, otherwise it becomes very difficult. Also, if you look above your seat in between the overhead bin and the air conditioning panel, you will notice gray rubber. That is called, "Spaghetti". It's what locks the air conditioning panel in place. Those are panels above your seat are not always easy to install. ;)
